MEET RICK DAVID…
Rick David understands relocation. He was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario, spending his summers on a rugged island on Sharbot Lake. He has moved throughout Eastern and South Western Ontario as life and his career have led him. He attended St. Lawrence College, studying Electronics Engineering and moved to Toronto for his first job, where he met his wife, Agnes. During the early years of marriage Agnes and Rick moved from the West end of Toronto, to Don Mills Rd and Sheppard, to Ajax (where both their boys were born), to Mississauga, to Ottawa and then to Burlington, where they lived from 1986 until 2013. Just recently moving to Stoney Creek, Rick and Agnes are again enjoying discovering a new town!
Rick David moved to Toronto in 1970 to begin his career in the cable television industry, staying for 17 years. Rick then worked in the computer networking field for 5 years as an owner/partner. After selling, he stayed on to help integrate the two operations and later to act as National Sales Manager for the Communication Technical Services team. The skills and strengths Rick honed allowed him to continue being self-employed. Offering a variety of free-lance consulting, working in the leasing business for a software developer as well as operating a couple of home-based marketing companies. Life treated Rick David well and these were all great experiences.
With Rick’s multiple moves, Real Estate had always been an interest and Rick knew it was something that would become a part of his career path. In the spring of 2004, Rick was licensed and ready to help his community buy and sell their homes. Always having enjoyed working with people, the move to real estate was the natural next step for Rick. Now finding that Rick is practicing all of his life’s learnings in one job, he finds it very rewarding.
My goal is to maintain a level of business that I can manage myself and provide personal service to each of my clients.
